The holidays are stressful enough without the added exhaustion of travel. Here are a few tips for successful and relaxing holiday travels:

-Prepare yourself mentally for the possibility of stress, and if things go smoothly - it’s a bonus.

-Create a mental “zen bubble” around yourself. For a quick fix - try @calm meditation

-Bring a spare change of clothes in your carry on - more passengers, more bags, more missed luggage.

-Be ready with immediate things like toiletries, snacks, in case your bag doesn’t make to the destination.

-Good deals on travel during holiday time? Usually you can find good air fair deals the week after Thanksgiving and after the week after the New Year. So if you are not tied to a school schedule - book your trips during these weeks.
