Russian Spotlight & Moscow Committee Cheering Station at the Chicago Bank of America Marathon

What an incredible morning we had cheering for the runners of Chicago Bank of America Marathon!

Some of the dedicated international runners participating were from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and they were delighted to see the support we offered at our cheering station between mile 5 and 6.

Besides the encouraging cheers and colorful signage, the station also offered healthy drinks and snacks kindly provided by Lifeway. Complimentary flags were handed out along with complimentary fitness classes offered by Yury Safonov of the Chicago Safonov Fitness Club.

Hosted by the Moscow Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International, in partnership with Russian Pointe, Russian Spotlight, Lifeway Kefir, Chicago Safonov Fitness Club, Flexistretcher, we were delighted to support these dedicated athletes from around the world!
