2nd Annual OPM Golf Outing, Punta Mita, Mexico

We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the second annualHarvard Business School (HBS) OPM Golf Tournament, held in the breathtaking locale of Punta Mita, Mexico. This event marked a remarkable fusion of our vibrant alumni network, exceptional golfing, and exquisite culinary offerings.

Participants, consisting of OPM classmates from across the globe, gathered for a two-day golf competition as an integral part of the esteemed 12th annual American Express Gourmet & Golf event. The Punta Mita Resort, boasting the luxurious Four Seasons and St. Regis Hotels, served as the perfect backdrop for this gathering. The resort's Pacifico and Bahia Golf Courses delivered the quintessential golfer’s paradise, complete with challenging terrain and stunning panoramic views that spanned ocean and mountains alike.

The four-day culinary feast featured a constellation of celebrity chefs who flew in from every corner of the world to showcase their gastronomic prowess. Our esteemed guests had the pleasure of savoring unforgettable dishes crafted by culinary luminaries such as Alfredo Villanueva, Cesar Jimenez, Coque Ossio, Erick Bautista, Federico Fernandez, Federico Ziegler, Hector Leyva, Kristin Ciccolella, Leslie Durso, Matt Dahlkemper, Sam Choy, Thierry Blouet, Xavier Salomon, Yasuo Asai, and Ariel Morales.

Adding to the excitement, this year's tournament was graced by special guests such as the accomplished Lorena Ochoa, the legendary Craig Stadler, the skilled Jean Van de Velde, and the renowned Larry Brown. It was particularly valuable for our OPMers to receive invaluable golfing insights from Jean Van deVelde, whose legacy in the sport made his tips a highlight for many attendees.

Amidst the friendly yet competitive spirit of the tournament, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to James Park OPM58 and to Dana Hinkle Finegold OPM55 for being closest to the pin—outstanding performances that earned them well-deserved accolades.
