Meditation for Entrepreneurs

I tried meditation for the first time 3.5 years ago in search of a better life-work balance. Inconsistent in the beginning, today I am on day 705 of continued mediatization. Long meditation sessions and silent weekend retreats were a bit overwhelming to me, so I opted to try shorter, more manageable 10-20 minute sessions and would slowly increase the length of time (Try Calm App and TM). 

As a busy Entrepreneur I get pulled in multiple directions, so one of the skills I wanted to develop is better focus. After a few weeks I felt the difference, and I now have improved focus in everything I do. Meditating in short sessions helps me focus better on work throughout the day.  It reduces the chance of getting distracted, and makes me more present in the moment. I noticed better focus not only during work projects, but also during a conversation with a friend, enjoying a delicious meal, working out, and even crossing a busy street.
