Chicago Sister Cities International Anniversary Event

As an entrepreneur for over 18 years, I’ve found it extremely important to stay connected with the community in which you live. As an active Chicago resident, I am so grateful to be able to bring community together, organize impactful events, and connect the brightest of minds through Chicago Sister Cities International. For those of you who don’t know of this organization, let me brief you:

President Dwight D. Eisenhower founded Sister Cities International in 1956, and Chicago signed their first Sister Cities agreement with Warsaw, Poland in 1960. Today, this organization works tirelessly to promote peace and understanding through programs and projects focused on arts and culture, youth and education, economic and sustainable development, and humanitarian assistance. As the national membership organization for over 500 individual sister cities, counties, and states across the United States with relationships in 2,000 communities in 140 countries, I am proud to serve as a chair of the Moscow Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International!

July 13th marks a major milestone for Chicago Sister Cities International, its 60th anniversary! Join us in wishing a happy anniversary to those who have worked so hard to foster world peace through global people-to-people relationships through this organization. Here’s to many more successful, impactful years that change this world for the best!
